Company History

ARKY Designs was established in 1989 and was purchased by the current owners in April 1995. The current company, ARKY Designs Ltd. is a division of NA Engineering Associates Inc. and operated by John Hood Tidman, M.A.A.T.O..

John has more than 20 years of hands on experience in both the office and the field. His experience is in both residential design and commercial production design and documentation. John's has worked as a senior technician with many Engineering and Architectural firms in Canada and overseas. Building projects vary from large scale commercial sites to residential renovations and additions in a number of different disciplines. More recently John has focused his efforts on commercial projects and the company's 3D rendering activities.

ARKY Designs opened the doors to its London office in the Winter of 1999 and we are happy to have enjoyed success in our London activities.

For over a decade this firm has provided our clients with high quality drawings and construction documents. We are proud of the service that we provide and the manner in which our team of professionals conduct that service. We strive to create a service that is friendly, prompt and fair and accomplishes results through a detailed process of design-development and client interaction. We are confident that you will recognize our efforts in this area when you deal with us.

Since the inception of ARKY Designs we have served the building community to the best of our ability and completed a range of projects for a number of builders, developers, Architects, Engineers, inventors and homeowners. To date we have thousands of projects bearing the company name and an extensive digital library from which to draw. Projects are documented and archived in digital format which allows for immediate location and retrieval if required. We believe that it is our role in the building process is to assist you, the client, in making your ideas a reality and we look forward to the opportunity of becoming a part of your building team.
